Several Congress MLAs have expressed their solidarity with Kadapa MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy taking out a yatra to sympathise with the bereaved families in Srikakulam district.
The people have the support for the Odarpu Yatra launched by Jaganmohan Reddy, several party MLAs have suggested. There is no need to outright reject the Yatra as Jagan's personal agenda or find fault with him, the legislators opined on Tuesday.
Congress leader Panabaka Krishnaiah has indicated that party president Sonia Gandhi and other top bosses are misled into believing that the Odarpu Yatra is frought with Jagan's personal ambition.
Jagan has planned to visit all the districts in the state through the Odarpu Yatra, Krishnaiah added.
Several leaders and suporters of YS Rajasekhar Reddy from the districts thronged the residence of YS Jagan on Wednesday morning and expressing their solidarity to the Odarpu Yatra.
Meanwhile, several MLAs including Sudheer Reddy, Rajee Reddy, Bala Nayak, Srisailam Goud, Srinivasulu, Amarnath Reddy, Chirumarthy Lingayyah, Bhikshapathi Yadav, Adinarayana Reddy and others have come forward to support the yatra of Jagan.
