The adjournment motions introduced by the  Telangana Rashtra Samithi and the Bharateeya Janata Party  were dissolved by the  Chair.

The Telugu Desam Party  MLAs and the MIM members raised their voice against the Speaker alleging  that the  Speaker was not giving them  sufficient time  to speak in the house.

The TDP chief  Chandrababu Naidu said  that the  speaker was insulting the Opposition members in the   assembly. The speaker is acting unilaterally in the   assembly.   He further alleged that the Chief Minister is throwing aspersions  on the  Opposition by blaming them of not allowing them to go ahead  with the proceedings.

He   hit out  at the chairperson of the House  saying that, the  speaker  is giving  more time  for the ruling party members.  The Speaker  is acting  at the behest of the Chief Minister in  adjourning  the assembly and not taking into consideration the  views  of the  opposition members.

Telangana Rashtra Samithi  MLA Harish  Rao  said  that  in the past the number of opposition members was  low  compared to the ruling party  but now  the members of opposition are almost on par with the  ruling  so at  such a time  the  opposition members  also should be given a good amount of time  to  raise the  questions in the assembly.

The Chief  Minister intervened  and clarified the objections  raised by the TDP chief  and the opposition parties. He said  if all the  opposition parties  wanted to discuss only one  question all through the day , he doesn’t  have any  objection.   But there needs to be  certain time limits to discuss  a particular  problem or  else  we should heed to the  Speaker who is conducting the House so that  the proceedings  will not  be interrupted  and the  time  is not  wasted.

Bu the  Chief Minister’s  clarifications fell on the deaf  ears of the  Opposiiton members   who continued  to show their  dissatisfaction.  Under these  circumstances  the  Speaker had  no other  go  except to  adjourn  the House  for  ten minutes.
