Chief Minister K Rosaiah and Pradesh Congress Committee president D Srinivas have been summoned to Delhi by the Congress High Command for the selction of candiadtes for the by-elections in Telangana region.
It is understood that the Congress leadership is expected to discuss the strategies to be adopted with the two leaders for the ensuing by-polls.
Against the backdrop of aspirants intensly lobbying for party tickets, the High Command has called for the meeting.
There is a strong feeling that those who win in the by-elections will get some prestigious posts in the government. It is learnt that some of the aspirants are already in Delhi to stake their claim before the party High Command.
