Chief Minister K Rosaiah has embarked on a two-day visit to Srikakulam and West Godavari districts on Saturday afternoon.On way to Srikakulam district, the Chief Minister is scheduled to make a stopover at Visakhapatnam.
Rosaiah was expected to inaugurate a sand refinery at Vatsavalasa in Gara mandalam near Srikurmam beach, 12 kilometre from Srikakulam. He will reach there by a helicopter at 4 p.m.
The Chief Minister will meet Government officers and public representatives for a few minutes before inaugurating the Trimax project there. He is scheduled to leave Vatsavalasa at 4.40 p.m. for Srikakulam by road.
Several developmental and official programmes have been arranged for the Chief MInister at Srikakulam between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. He will also unveil the statue of late YSRajasekhar Reddy at Seven-roads junction in the town.
Rakshita, a drinking water project with an investment of Rs 22 crore would be inaugurated by the Chief Minister. He will also lay the foundation stone for a TTD Kalyana Mandapam and participate in other programmes.
A public meeting being organised at the Municipal NTR High School grounds will be addressed by the Chief MInister. He will make a night halt at R & B Guest House.Rosaiah will address a media meet at 9 a.m. on June 27 before leaving for West Godavari by a chopper.
