Bandh partial in Hyderabad, hits normal life

Saturday's bandh had a partial impact on the shops, business establishment and educational institutions, which were shutdown in response to the bandh call given by the students of  JAC  of Osmania University in  protest against  the firing at Mahabubabad on Friday.

The bandh evoked hardly any response  as life was almost  normal in the twin cities. Autos were plying on the roads as usual and the RTC and train services were normal.

Two RTC buses were torched by Telangana activists while two more buses of a private engineering college were damaged by the agitators at Dindigul.

The police sounded a warning against forcible closure of establishments and business organisation. Forces were deployed in a big way in the trouble pockets of the city.
