In view of ‘Laila’ cyclonic storm hitting the Coastal Andhra on Thursday, Chief Minister K Rosaiah cancelled his visit to Chennai and Bangalore.
According to CM Office sources, the Chief Minister has planned to visit Chennai and Bangalore on Saturday. However, as Meteorological department issued cyclone warning to the state, the Chief Minister cancelled his visit to Bangalore and Chennai to review the rescue and relief operations in the districts with the Ministers and Collectors.
The Chief Minister has decided not to leave the state until the cyclonic storm crosses the Andhra coast, according to sources.
