Andhra Pradesh showed a positive economic growth amid global meltdown, claimed Chief Minister K Rosaiah on Friday.
Inaugurating a first phase of three-day Auto Show South 2010, jointly organized by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers, Confederation of Indian Industry and the State Government at Hitex grounds in Izzat Nagar here on Friday, he called upon industrialists and entrepreneurs to set up their units in the state.
Rosaiah said the government would extend cooperation, benefits and sops to the newly set up units in the state.” The state infrastructure is favourable to establishing industrial units,” he pointed out.
“The state has registered exceptional growth in all sectors due to its favourable and investor-friendly industrial policy,” he stated.
The state was first in implementing the economic reforms and the World Bank also recognized this, stated the Chief Minister.
The exhibition would feature passenger cars, SUV/MUV, concept cars, luxury cars, bikes, racing bikes, accessories, car and audio-music systems and GPS navigation.
Well-known automobile brands including Toyota Kirloskar Motors, TVS Motors, Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India, Tata Motors, Honda Cars, Mahindra & Mahindra, Skoda, Fiat India Automobiles and Yamaha are participating in the event.
