A Cabinet decision on the teachers' recruitment on the basis of District Selection Committee-2008 would be taken on May 6, stated Minister for Primary Education Manikya Vara Prasada Rao.
Coming out of a Cabinet sub-committee meeting, convened by Chief Minister K Rosaiah at the Secretariat on Thursday, the Minister told newsmen the Government would recruit all candidates selected under the DSC-2008 notification.
He said there is no need to worry on the postings as the Government would take all those qualified as per DSC-2008 notification. The government also plans a strategy to remove legal hurdles in connection with the recruitment to complete the process immediately, he said.
Expressing displeasure over the Cabinet decision, Backward classes leader R Krishnaiah said the students would picket the residence of Chief Minister K Rosaiah on Friday protesting the delay in teachers' postings.
