The two-day whirlwind tour of Chief Minister K Rosaiah in the East Godavari district was completed on Monday afternoon when Dr Rosaiah left for Hyderbad at 1 p.m on Monday.
Earlier in the morning, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone and performed the Bhoomi poojan for a Rs 3.5 crore housing colony at Deewan Cheruvu in Rajahamundry. After taking part in several welfare programmes at Rajahmundry, the Chief Minister left for Samlakot by helicopter. In Samalkot Rosaiah offered prayers at the Panchamukh Anjaneyaswamy temple.
Later , Rosaiah reached Kakinada by 11 a.m to inaugurate the Ambedkar Bhavan. Before finally ending his tour of the East Godavari district, the CM inaugurated the Apporva Co-Operative Ban.On finishing his assignments in the district the CM, left for Mathurapudi and from there to Hyderabad by air.
