The Telangana Congress MPs submitted a 102-page report to Srikrishna Committee on Friday.According to the Srikrishna panel sources, it received about 2,000 representations, of which 200 are being considered as non-duplicate and of serious in content.
Congress MP Madhu Yashki said `` Andhra leaders were submitting reports to the Committee by dozens, and that there were instances where a single leader had submitted eight reports to the Committee.’’
Meanwhile, TRS leader Kavita, daughter of K.Chandrasekhar Rao also submitted a report and said she had suggested that the 10 Telangana districts be merged as a small unit for better governance, discarding the 1956 model that was a relic from the British rule.
