Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor in a TV Show stated that she loved the film Arjun Reddy a lot and she is keen to work with its hero Vijay Deverakonda. Actually, had Vijay Devarakonda accepted to star in the Hindi remake of Dear Comrade, he thought of roping in Janhvi Kapoor opposite him. But, Vijay wants to make Bollywood debut with a fresh subject.
Considering her interest to work with Vijay Devarakonda, Puri Jagannadh who will be directing and producing his next Fighter has reportedly approached Janhvi Kapoor and her father Boney Kapoor. However, both are said to have rejected the offer. Janhvi wants to romance Vijay, but in a straight Bollywood film. Moreover, she did not like the way heroine's role is written. As per the subject, female lead is restricted to fill glamor quotient and will not have much importance.
Now, Puri Jagannadh is looking for other options. The film Fighter where Vijay Devarakonda will be seen as martial arts artist will start rolling from January, 2020. Actually, Puri penned the story for NTR. Since NTR refused it, the subject went to Vijay Deverakonda who is presently working for untitled film under the direction of Kranthi Madhav.
