The state government was neglecting the healthcare sector by allocating meagre funds in the budget, stated Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu.
Talking to reporters after inaugurating a health check-up camp at NTR Trust Bhavan organized under the aegis of Image Hospitals, Asian Institute of Gastroenterology and Indi-American Cancer Centre on Wednesday to mark the World Health Day, the TDP leader said the hospitals are in poor state as the government was not allocating enough funds for the health care sector.
The doctors conducted a free health check-up camp for diabetes, obesity, cancer and cardiac ailments.
