It is the inability of the State Government to hold a check on the price rise which led to increase in prices of essential commodities, alleged Bharatiya Janata Party Legislative Floor Leader Kishan Reddy on Thursday.
During the debate in the Assembly, he said the poor and middle class people are facing a lot of problems due to rise in prices of essential commodities.
The policies which the UPA Government is following at the Centre are responsible for the increase in prices of all essential commodities, the BJP leader noted.
He urged the government to take steps for controlling prices of essential commodities in the market by conducting regular raids on hoarders. ``The vigilance department should effectively carry out the raids,'' the BJP leader added.
