Police officials of Warangal and Prakasam districts submitted their reports to the Human Rights Commission (HRC) on Monday stating that the Maoists, Kondal Reddy and Shakamuri Apparao were killed in police counters .
Rebutting the charges that there are no fake encounters, the police authorities enclosed the report of forensic experts along with their report.
The report further mentioned that Kondal Reddy’s wife Madhavi Joshi was also a Maoist and she never asked for the dead body of her husband to be handed over to her.
Advocate Jayavindyala challenging the report of police authorities filed a counter petition claiming the facts mentioned by the police officials in the reports to be false.
According to the Human Rights Commission, the petition will be taken up for hearing on April 22.
