Telugu Desam Party leader N Chandrababu Naidu will visit Palamuru in Mahabubnagar district on Friday evening to enquire about the relief operations taken up by the state government for flood victims of Tungabhadra.
According to party sources, the TDP leader would visit flood hit areas of Tungabhadra River and enquire the victims about the relief operations in the district.
Naidu will also visit Rajouli and Alampur mandals in the district, where the flood waters have inundated dozens of villages and damaged standing crops and houses.
Naidu will also convene a meeting with flood-hit farmers and victims to know the hardships and difficulties they are facing while receivng the relief material from the Government.
The TDP chief will visit the weavers of Rajouli village, known for Gadwal saris, and will evauate the relief work carried out here by the Government. It is learnt that the weavers lost saris, raw material and dyes during the floods.
The visit assumes significance as the Opposition leader raised flood victims problems in the House recently.
