This is one again not a fair stunt from Telangana Joint Action Committee to link up the valuation of Intermediate exam papers with Telangana. This was a regular practice for the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) to send answer scripts of a particular district to spot valuation centers in other districts.
T-JAC has come up with a proposal that Intermediate exam answer sheets of students from the Telangana region should only be evaluated by evaluators hailing from the T-region. This region wise evaluation scheme planned by T-JAC has enough argument that evaluators from Andhra may award less marks to T- students in the present political conditions.
In this regard Kodandaram has even met Board of Intermediate Education Secretary Balaramaiah and the Board referred the matter to the government to take a final call. Minsiter for Secondary education Manikya Varaprasada Rao on speaking to the media has said, ‘if we alter the system for petty politics, it will do more harm than good. So, we will continue with earlier system of evaluation only.’
Many intellectuals in the society are criticizing the stand of T-JAC of linking education with Telangana.
