A news channel focusing on 10 Telangana districts is all set to launch on Ugadi, March 16. Raj News channel sponsored directly by Telangana Rashtra Samithi Party has already started beaming the test signals.
``Undoubtedly, the television channel will focus on the Telangana culture and the issues affecting the region besides beaming the happenings of other regions with credibility,’’ said channel head S Ilangovan.
``At the moment, we are planning to have our correspondents in all the 10 districts of Telangasna. As of now, we do not have any plans to appoint reporters in the remaining 13 districts spread over Coastal and Rayalaseema regions.
Many experts feel that this channel will serve as a mouthpiece of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi Party.
