Telugu Desam senior leader Eraabally Dayakar who met Chief Minister K Rosaiah on Monday took to his notice the irregularities in the distribution of drought relief to farmers in Palakurty area of Warangal district.
The TDP leader alleged that the cheques are being given away by Government officials to persons who do not even hold a piece of land and urged the Chief Minister to take appropriate action against the officials.
He urged Rosaiah to come to the rescue of Palakurty farmers who suffered heavy losses due to the prevailing drought situation.
Errababli claimed the Chief Minister was sympathetic to his views and assured him of prompt action. Referring to Botsa Satyanarayana's comments on bifurcation of the state, he said Botsa drew accolades from Telangana leaders.
