For a while, Chief Minister K Rosaiah was in a dilemma whether to step into the late Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy’s chamber or not. Now it is the camp office of the late chief minister which is haunting him.

According to circles in the Secretariat, the Chief Minister is not keen on occupying the camp office in Begumpet apprehending several Vaastu problems involved in it. According to Vaastu experts, the construction of the flyover in front of the Camp Office weighs down the fortunes of the occupant. Of late, the authorities have  made suitable changes under the direction of Vaasthu experts.

There could be reasons behind the Chief Minister's plan to defer occupying the camp office. According to the grapevine, the Begumpet camp office might be allocated to theffice of Justice Srikrishna Committee, constituted to look into the Telangana and integrated Andhra Pradesh demands.

The Chief MInbister is believed to have felt that Justice Srikrishna Committee could be accommodated at the camp office temporarily as it is very spacious and centrally located. Moreover, the camp office is a reminder of the charismatic personality of YS Rajasekhar Reddy who stood behind the cause of Andhra Pradesh as a united entity.

Now, the big question is if Vasthu has its sway over the events in the state, so will it have on the functioning of the Srikrishna Committee, which will be crucial to the future of the Telangana statehood and the aspirations of the peole of Andhra Pradesh.

For all right thinking people, may the state ride the path of prosperity and peace by overcoming all the hurdles, let alone Vasthu.
