Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has imposed undeclared emergency in Gajwel Assembly constituency of Siddipet district, alleged Deputy CLP leader T. Jeevan Reddy.
'All the democratic rights including freedom of expression have been suspended in Gajwel, the Assembly constituency represented by the Chief Minister.
No one in Gajwel is allowed to speak against the Chief Minister or his family members. Media and elected representatives have been barred to speak about forced land acquisition from poor farmers by the TRS Government in Gajwel.
KCR is behaving not like a Chief Minister, but a landlord. He has been turning more arrogant with each passing day and has been suppressing all sections of society,' Jeevan Reddy said.
Referring to the incidents of suicide by two inspectors of Gajwel constituency, Ramakrishna Reddy and Prabhakar Reddy, further Jeevan Reddy said the SIs took the extreme step due to the pressure from the activists of ruling TRS. He demanded only a judicial probe could expose the real reasons that drove two SIs to suicide.
