Eluru, Feb 3: Still undecided about what stand to take on the Telangana statehood, Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday came out with a cautious statement to silence his critics.The TDP chief, who was touring West Godavari district to console the bereaved families of the victims of the boat tragedy, said ``the people of Andhra and Telangana are our two eyes. We respect them and their stand on pro-Telangana and integrated Andhra Pradesh.’’``The Telangana issue is a difficult subject which should be handled delicately,’’ Chandrababu said.
``We haven’t yet gone through the report of the newly conistituted panel and its functioning, so I cannot make any comment on the panel now,’’ the TDP chief explained.``I am sure the Centre will come out with a solution which is amicable to the people of both the regions,’’ Chandrababu averred.``TDP is committed to the development of Telugu people in both the regions. We will strive to strengthen the party in Telangana as well as in Andhra,’’ Chandrababu added.
