Leader of opposition in AP Assembly and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday came down heavily on Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu accusing him of neglecting farm sector in the state. He said that the TD government was least bothered about the suffering of the farmers who are facing crisis due to drought conditions and crop loss.
Speaking at a rally as part of his Rythu Bharosa Yatra at Dornala village, Jagan said that the TDP government has ignored farmers and this was evident from the fact that not a single project was completed in three years of TDP rule. He said that the TDP chief was encouraging defection of YSRCP MLAs and demanded that all those who joined TD should get elected afresh. He also alleged that the TDP government has diluted various welfare schemes launched by the YSR Government like fee reimbursement scheme leaving lakhs of students in the lurch.
