Hyderabad, Jan 22: The core committee of All India Congress Committee which met at the residence of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh here today have proposed to set up a panel comprising three retired judges to look into the simmering Telangana issue.However, the constitution of panel and its members have not yet been named.
After an hour-long deliberation on the issue of Telangana, the Core committee decided to meet once again after Jan 26 to study the issue further before taking a final decision.Apart from the Prime Minister those who attended the meeting include, Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee and other senior Congress leaders.
