Hyderabad, Jan 13: Taking a deep dig at the agitators who are protesting against the screening of Adurs movie, senior Telugu desam leader Talasani Srinivasa Yadav said, Telangana should be achieved in a peaceful manner and a democratic way.``By resorting to violence and protests against the screening of movies we are bringing disgrace to Telangana culture,’’ Talasani added.``In the districts of Telangana and Greater Hyderabad, the people were put a lot of inconvenience just because of telangnan Rashtra samiti chief K Chandrasekhar Rao’s family,’’ he observed.
``If you have any heartburns over the producer or the actors involved in that particular movie then refrain from it,’’ he said.``Burning of posters and staging rasta-rokos send wrong signals to the people living in other states about Telangana culture, Talasani explained.Meanwhile, Nagam Janardhan Reddy, a senior leader of TDP also called on the supporters of Telangana to carry out the agitation peacefully. ``We can achieve separatre Telangana only through peaceful means and not by resorting to violence,’’ the former minister said.Nagam gave a call to all the ministers, MLAs, and MPs from Telangana to tender their resignations in support of separate Telangana. ``This is the only way we can show the government our resentment,’’ the senior TDP leader observed.
