Telangana IT minister K. Tarakarama Rao met Union Minister for Labour Bandaru Dattatreya in Hyderabad on Tuesday and sought the Union government’s help in developing IT sector in the State.
Addressing the media persons later, the minister said that he had appraised the Union Minister about the progress of the Metro Rail works and assured him that the project would be completed soon. He said that the Union Minister had assured him that the Central Government would extend all sorts of help for making Hyderabad a global city. The Union minister also promised help to develop Secundrabad Railway Station and the MMTS project.
Dattatreya also promised to help Telangana Government in developing the IT sector and in increasing employment opportunities in the sector in the State.
