With the bandh call given by “United Andhra JAC” for January 4 and Rail Roko on January 5, many viewed that now the ‘bandh mania’ has struck the Seemandhra region after Telangana.
Tirupati Congress Party President Pratap Reddy has openly rejected the call given for bandh. Quoting the reason of pilgrims who might face troubles with bandh, Congress party president has called off the bandh and said that Tirupathi will function as usual even if bandh call is given. So, bandh remains applicable for Seemandhra areas except Tirupathi.
