Panchayat Raj Minister K. Tarakarama Rao promised overall development of Khammam if the TRS is voted to power in the municipal elections.
Addressing a road show in Pandu Rangapuram of Khammam Town on Thursday, said that the Khammam Municipal Corporation would be developed on par with Hyderabad. He said that people of Khammam have played an active role in various public movements. However, the previous governments completely neglected the development of Khammam district.
KTR said that the Khammam could witness fast pace development only if TRS is voted to power in municipal body. He informed that 5,000 2BKH houses have been sanctioned for the district. Further, efforts were on to provide drinking water from Godavari River. He said voting for Congress, TDP or other parties would be like wasting the precious vote and therefore, people should vote for TRS to strengthen the leadership of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.
R&B Minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao, GHMC Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and other leaders also addressed the election meetings.
