Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao on Saturday announced that the portfolio of Municipal Administration & Urban Development, which he is now holding, would be allocated to his son and Panchayat Raj Minister K. Tarakarama Rao.
Addressing the public meeting at Parade Grounds, the Chief Minister said KTR has done a good job for the party in GHMC election campaign and therefore, he would be assigned the task of development of Hyderabad by assigning the MA&UD portfolio after GHMC polls.
KCR announcement is a clear hint that he would be doing a reshuffle in his cabinet immediately after the GHMC elections.
