Hyderabad, Dec 30: The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation has cancelled all its services in the 10 districts of Telangana on Wednesday in views of the bandh call given by the Join Action Committee.The RTC suspended over 9000 buses plying in Telangana region and the long-distance services proceeding towards coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema towns. Similarly night bus services from Andhra region towards Hyderabad were cancelled.In Rangareddy district alone about 3,800 buses have come to a halt.
The RTC authorities were so cautious that they directed the staff to drive the night halt buses in the villages back to the nearest depot.Hundreds of city buses in Hyderabad were cancelled due to which commuters had a tough time to reach their destinations. Many of them were stranded at various places.The bandh call had its impact since Tuesday night as the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) and railways suspended their services.
