Hyderabad, Dec 26 : Former Home Minister Jana Reddy on Saturday appealed to the Telugu Desam party leaders from Telangana to join the Joint Action Committee to fight for the cause of Telangana. He asked them to reconsider their decision on joining the JAC.Jana Reddy,who is playing a lead role in the JAC, appealed to the agitators not to indulge in any violence and keep away from desecrating any statues.The Telangana movement should be fought in a peaceful way, he advised the pro-Telangana supporters.He said that there will be no bandh till the JAC gives call.
Addressing the media in new MLA Quarters here where the Congress MLAs and MPs met to discuss the future course of action, he said the Congress would play a major role in the present Telangana movement.The JAC did not set any deadline for the Centre to take a decision on Telangana, he added.
