After a huge turmoil in the state with a single line statement given by Chidambaram two weeks ago on Telangana, now the same Chidambaram has once again arrived before the media to put the Telangana at abeyance. Chidambaram said that the situation in Andhra Pradesh "has changed" since the Centre sanctioned a Telangana state two weeks ago. He also said that centre's decision was made after political parties arrived at a consensus at all party meeting conducted by Roshiah.
But the situation has changed with wide differences among the same politicians and need of the hour was to "hold lengthy discussions with all concerned in the process." Chidambaram was kind enough saying, "We appeal to political parties and students to withdraw their agitations and maintain peace and harmony."
Chidambaram was enough stubborn not to answer any of the media’s further questions and it is now the turn of Telangana leaders…Will they digest that Telangana for the moment is a distant dream or will they adopt other approach to tackle the Telangana statement.
