Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has made it clear that the Telangana Government would not accept the implementation of Section 8 of Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act under any circumstances.
The Chief Minister on Tuesday held a high-level review meeting with the senior officials including Director General of Police Anurag Sharma at his camp office. Later, he went to Raj Bhavan to meet Governor ESL Narasimhan to take his take on Attorney General's views on Section 8. During the meeting, which lasted for about one hour, KCR has reportedly conveyed to the Governor that there was no need to impose Section 8 as the Law and Order situation was completely under control in Hyderabad. He said that the Telangana Government would not hesitate in registering its protest in New Delhi.
The Chief Minister also briefed the Governor on the developments related to 'Cash for Vote' case.
Later, the Chief Minister held another meeting with the party MLAs and ministers on the latest political situation.
