Laloo supports Telangana bifurcation

New Delhi,Dec 11: With the Centre giving its nod for commencement of the process to carve out Telangana state from a united Andhra Pradesh, the expectation of people who yearned for smaller states have risen.Amidst the flurry of activities amongst the leaders from all parts of the country for  Gorkhaland,Mithilanchal, Saurashtra etc, Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo and former Railways Minister Laloo Prasad Yadav has expressed his support for the creation of T-State.

Expressing his support to the T-issue, Laloo dodged questions about the calls for a separate Mithilanchal state carved out of Bihar.The RJD chief told newsmen outside Parliament House, "We want separate states for the fulfilment of people's aspirations.A separate Telangana state should be carved out of Andhra Pradesh."The RJD chief added that Naxalism in Telangana thrived due to its neglect.He said the current spate of resignations will not delay the process of creation of the state.
