Governor ESL Narasimhan on Friday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and briefed him about the current situation in the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking to media persons later, the Governor said that various issues were discussed with the Prime Minister although the discussion was general. "Both the States are doing very well. The law and order is being maintained well in both the State and both the Chief Ministers are doing well," he said adding that problems do not exist between the two States.
When asked about the controversy regarding intermediate examination, the Governor said that exams are being conducted and children will not suffer because of examination. He said children interest would be protected. The Governor refused to answer questions related to Special Status to Andhra Pradesh.
