Fomer minsiter Dokka Manikyavara Prasad on Thursday alleged that former chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has amassed illegal wealth of Rs 5,000-6,000 crore in the last six month.
Speaking to media persons at the Congress Legislature Party office here, Dokka alleged that Kiran cleared several files and earned money through illegal means. He even collected money through is brother to transfer IAS and IPS, he alleged. He accused Kiran of enacting political drams to cover up his malpractices.
He made these allegations a few hours before Kiran announced the launch of his new political party.
Dokka requested Governor ESL Narasimhan to conduct an enquiry into the allegations against Kiran Kumar Reddy. He said that Kiran suits the role of Seetarama Rao in ‘Asamardhuni Jeevana Yatra’, a play written by Gopi Chand.
On being pointed out that he was considered as a close associate of Kiran Kumar Reddy, Dokka said he was always loyal to the Congress party and not to any individual. Further, he said he himself would seek CBI probe if anyone levels allegations of corruption against him.
