Labour Minister and Greater Hyderabad Congress Committee president Danam Nagender on Monday claimed that the Central leadership of Congress party was having good relationship with the leaders of Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen.
Danam disclosed this while speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan here. When asked about Congress party's possible alliance with the MIM, he said that the Congress High Command would take a decision in this regard. He claimed that the MIM's relations have strained with Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy at personal level and MIM leaders were still having good relationship with the Central leadership.
The GHCC chief, who also submitted a report on party's prospects to AICC Observer Vijay Dharni, said that the Congress party should announce the candidates for both Assembly and Lok Sabha seats for next elections at the earliest. He said early nomination would enable the candidates to take up campaign in their respective constituencies in an organised manner. He said last minute nominations minimize the winning chances of candidates.
