Union Minister D Purandeswari on Monday announced said that she would oppose the Telangana Bill in the Parliament.
Speaking to media persons here, Purandeswari described the Telangana Bill as incomplete. She said that the Bill did not accommodate the suggestions made by the Seemandhra union ministers. Further, she said that the Bill failed to address the concerns of people living in Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra regions.
Stating that the Hyderabad should be made a joint capital for both the regions after the bifurcation, Purandeswari said that there no provision in the Constitution for a common capital.
