Dissolve Assembly to stop T-process: TGV

State Minister TG Venkatesh on Thursday proposed that Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly should be dissolved to stop the ongoing process of formation of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking to media persons in Assembly premises here, Venkatesh said that he, along with other leaders, would meet Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy to formally request him to dissolve the Legislative Assembly. He said that the Telangana process would automatically stop in the absence of Assembly and the Centre too would be forced to postpone the bifurcation till after next elections.

Venkatesh said that leaders of all leaders, irrespective of their party affiliation, should work together to keep the State united. Stating that Rayalaseema region was most backward in the State, he said development of all regions was possible only in united Andhra Pradesh.

Venkatesh also announced his support for the Chalo Delhi call given by APNGOs chief Ashok Babu.
