AICC Secretary and MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy on Saturday alleged that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC president Botsa Satyanayrana were acting like leaders of opposition parties.
Talking to reporters here, Ponguleti said that the Chief Minister and PCC chief were acting as mute spectators on the criticism on Congress president Sonia Gandhi by the opposition parties. He said their silence was spoiling the party's image among the public. He said that they should counter all the allegations and criticism against the Congress party and Sonia Gandhi.
Further, Ponguleti asked Kiran and Botsa to stand by the same status that they maintained before the CWC announced its decision in favour of Telangana. Asking them to abide by the decision of Congress High Command, he asked them to take steps to end Samaikhyandhra agitation to facilitate formation of Telangana in an amicable manner.
