TRS Deputy Floor leader T Harish Rao on Friday alleged that TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu was targeting the TRS and its leaders out of frustration.
Talking to reporters at Assembly's media point, Harish Rao said that it was at Naidu's instance that the TDP leaders were leveling baseless charges against the TRS leadership. He said that a media house was being used by the TDP to tarnish the image of TRS among people. However, he said that the baseless allegations would not last longer and TDP would continue to lose ground in the Telangana region.
Harish Rao said that several TDP leaders were desperately waiting to join the TRS.
The TRS MLA also alleged discrimination to Telangana region in the recent expansion of union cabinet. He said while 10 leaders from the Seemandhra region were accommodated in the union cabinet, only three leaders from the Telangana were given berth. He said all top posts of the Chief Minister, Speaker, Council Chairman and PCC were held by the Seemandhra leaders.
