A day after meeting Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, amid speculations that she would be joining the Congress, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) secretary general and Medak MP Vijayashanti has gone into hiding again.The TRS leaders desperately tried to contact Vijayashanti on Saturday, but their efforts were futile. She was in Hyderabad for the last one week, but she did not bother to go to the TRS party office. Added to it she made no effort to meet the party leader K Chandrasekhar Rao.
In fact, KCR wanted Vijayashanti to accompany him to Mahbubnagar, but as she was not available, he had to go alone. According to information reaching the Telangana Bhavan, she is making all preparations to join the Congress sooner or later.Vijayashanti, did not turn up for the party meeting which was convened on Sunday to discuss the strategies to be adopted for the forthcoming Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections. When some leaders pointed out to KCR that Vijayashanti was avoiding the party affairs and instead, hobnobbing with the Congress leaders, he did not react much.
“We have invited her into the party to strengthen the Telangana movement. We honoured her with TRS secretary general post and made her MP from Medak. Let us wait and see how she is going to act in the coming days. Let her expose herself. We are not going to do that,” KCR is learnt to have told the party leaders.

Her real desire is only power and she would not mind flipping sides to achieve it. So far, people from her constituency are said to be complaining that not a single work has been done in their areas and are now regretting their decision.
