Government Chief Whip Gandra Venkataramana Reddy on Saturday alleged that Telugu Desam Party leaders have started losing faith on their leader N Chandrababu Naidu.
Addressing a press conference at the Congress Legislature Party office here, Venkataramana Reddy said that Naidu lost the confidence of his own party men and that was the reason why they were switching loyalties to other parties. He said that the TDP's position would not change in the next elections and it would repeat the history of 2004 and 2009 assembly elections.
The Chief Whip also asked Naidu to face a probe into the allegations of corruption against him. He said that the TDP chief has been surviving by taking stay orders against several probes and he should face one to prove his honesty.
Venkataramana Reddy also dared the TDP to introduce a No Confidence Motion against the Kiran Kumar Reddy Government. He said that the TDP was confident of losing the motion and that was the reason why it did not introduce the No Trust Vote during last assembly session.
Gandra also claimed that Congress MP S Rajaiah was not leaving the party although he did not elaborate on the issue further.
