Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde on Wednesday made it clear that the Congress High Command would not interfere with the issue of tainted ministers of Andhra Pradesh.
“Centre will not interfere in the state issues,” was Shinde's reply when reporters asked him about the possible action against Home Minister P Sabitha Indira Reddy, who has been named as an accused by the CBI in the Disproportionate Assets case of YSRCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Shinde said that Sabitha's issue was in the purview of the State and therefore, the Centre would not interfere with it.
The Union Home Minister also reiterated that the Telangana issue was under the active consideration of the Centre.
