Finally its curtains to the NTR statue invitation controversy.
An invitation was sent by the Speaker Meira Kumar’s office to the TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu to attend the NTR Statue unveiling function to be held at Parliament on Tuesday.
Earlier a TDP delegation met the Speaker and said that there should be a formal invitation to the Party President and complained that there was no such invite till Sunday night.
Union Minister D Purandeswari, however, said that N Chandrababu Naidu and his wife were invited to the function. The TDP delegation insisted on a formal invitation and not a personal one.
