The Telugu Desam Party has slammed the state budget for the year 2013-14 and said while the allocation for Jalayagnam has increased, the extent of ayacut has come down.
The allocations for agriculture have come down and agriculture sector has taken a back seat, he said during his padayatra.
The government has failed in the implementation of Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu scheme while the Women and child welfare department has been reeling under heavy corruption.
The state failed in securing central funds during natural calamities. Housing has taken a back seat and congress leaders have benefitted out of them, he said.
Though drinking water is the main problem there is no mention of it in the budget. Weavers were not given the due share and there is 19 per cent deficit when read on a national scale.
