Hyderabad,Nov 5: The Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K Chandraskharea Rao will be leaving for Delhi on November 9.During his visit to Delhi the TRS chief has charted out a two-day program during which time he is expected to meet variousleaders.Briefing the media on Thursday, the TRS chief said that he will meet President Pratibha Patil,Primer Minister Manmohan Singh,Congress President Sonia Gandhi, and opposition leader L K Advani and discuss with them about the Telangana problem. In case I don’t get a positive response from them about Telangana then I will launch a fast unto death agitation from this month end.
Right now,the TRS is facing a big crisis. With just one more day left for filing of the nomination for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation polls the party is still undecided whether to fight the elections or not.In view of the latest political developments in the state after the death of Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy, the GHMC elections are a yardstick to measure the party standings in the state. At such critical situations if the party is undecided over the future then it will reflect a very poor image in the public.
Of late KCR’s statements in the media have become very controversial and his jail bharo program proved to be an utter flop.Against the backdrop of such events one can expect how far KCR will succeed in convincing the leaders at the Centre about separate Telangana.
