The Legislative Affairs Minister D Sreedhar Babu said that disciplinary action will be initiated against those who defied the whip.
During the no confidence motion nine Congress members have voted in favour against the whip issued the government. No confidence motion is a tool which should be sparingly used but now-a-days opposition parties are using if more frequently, he said.
Sreedhar Babu rejected the talk that the government has lost its majority. “We have the required numbers in the House,’ he said.
