The first phase of the budget session of Andhra Pradesh Legislature will be up to March 26.
A decision to this effect was taken at the Business Advisory Committee meeting presided over by Speaker N Manohar here on Tuesday.
The opposition parties have asked for more time. TDP has complained that there was no proper information on Standing Committees. The speaker said that the Standing Committees were formed according to the norms.
Power shortage, Dilshknagar blasts, Polavaram tenders, Babli project, draught ad various issues were mentioned by opposition parties during the meeting.
The TDP has also asked for a discussion on the number of visitors of Jagan at Chanchalguda jail. The TRS said that it wants the house to adopt a resolution on Telangana, BJP and CPI supported it.
The house will sit on Saturdays on March 16 and 23.
The motion on thanks to Governor’s address will be taken up on Thursday and the budget will be presented on March 18. The house will take vote on account for the budget on 26th.
The house will again meet in the second week of May.
