Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana on Sunday expressed confidence that the Congress Government would defeat the No Confidence Motion, if moved by the opposition parties during the ensuing budget session of the State Legislative Assembly.
Talking to reporters here, Botsa said that any members crossing the floor would face action which implies disqualification. Therefore, he said that there was no threat to Kiran Kumar Reddy Government in near future. He was also hinting at any cross voting for the MLC elections, if voting becomes necessary.
Even in the eventuality of a snap poll, he expressed confidence that the Congress party would return to power.
