Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekahra Reddy has called upon the officials to utilize the Information Technology properly to successfully implement the government welfare schemes in the state.
Inaugurating the Third International Geoinformation System Health Conference at Hightechs on Saturday, the Chief Minister stated that the government welfare schemes and programmes can be taken speedily to the doorsteps of people utilizing the information technology.
By utilizing the information technology, the government can provide corruption-free administration to the people of the state also, he added.
In the implementation of Arogyasri, Abhayahastam and other schemes in the state, the Information Technology has played a major role, he pointed out.
In the conference 300 members from 20 countries were expected to participate. Prominent persons from various universities would present their research papers in the conference.
